Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) come in the form of a hood or a full-face mask. The hood or mask filters out pathogens and pollutants and delivers clean air to the user. Filters must be changed out with the same frequency as cartridge respirators, and the system should be rated for Hazardous Locations (HL).
Safety note: It should be noted that the cartridge respirators and the PAPR systems are not to be used by the sprayer during high-pressure indoor foam applications.
