Supplied Air Respirator (SAR) systems provide a continuous flow of clean air to the hood or mask you’re wearing. SAR systems are the only systems that should be used by the sprayer during high-pressure indoor foam applications. A low-pressure source would be an ambient pump (an air compressor designed specifically for respiratory protection applications) located in, or drawing air from, a clean environment.

Low-pressure fresh air systems provide all of the benefits of other air systems, but with less hassle and maintenance. There is no calibration required, and you don’t need a large compressor, which makes this the most convenient system available. For those looking for a smaller investment for their fresh air system, the low-pressure fresh air systems are for you.
