CHANHASSEN, Minn., March 13, 2019 — IDI Distributors, a national leader in residential and commercial insulation distribution based in Chanhassen, Minn., announces the acquisition of Peoria, Ill. based Insulation Materials.
Insulation Materials, a thermal, moisture and sound control distributor, will operate as a division of IDI now offering full lines of fiberglass, spray foam, equipment, and a wide inventory of insulation accessories. The new partnership will expand both distributors’ product portfolios and service capabilities to better provide insulation contractors with the dedicated service and training they expect from the IDI name. The Peoria, Ill. location adds on to the more than 50 IDI Distributor locations — all of which focus on providing fast service and more options to insulation contractors nationwide.
