Thermafiber® SAFB™
Thermafiber® SAFB™ (Sound Attenuation Fire Blankets) are mineral wool insulation batts designed to provide sound control and fire protection within a variety of UL® fire-rated wall designs and floor-ceiling assemblies. This product is non-combustible, moisture-resistant, non-corrosive, non-deteriorating, mildew-resistant, and vermin-resistant. SAFB™ resists temperatures over 2,000 ºF and can add points to STC for walls and floor-ceiling assemblies. SAFB™ can be installed in both steel stud and wood-framed construction.
Thermafiber® SAFB™ is available formaldehyde-free.
